This post was on stand by since April. LOL. I stated the general reasons on my previous blogs why I will have to declare a temporary cosplay hiatus, but to summarize those reasons:

1. Lack of money

This is very understandable, I ain't rich.

2. Being a senior student of MARIA MONTESSORI SCHOOL means treasuring weekends to rest

Those two days to rest and recharge are my only treasures. Also, I will be serious about school for my last year, I can't let cosplay pressures (money for costume, plans, getting the costume done, buying wigs and contacts, making props, whatever) bother me only for this year. Friends from school and cosplay would probably not understand, but at least try understand me only for this year, this is what I want and I'm serious.

3. Trauma over the Php2410 I wasted

This reason takes up a lot of part. Only I cared for what happened to the money. When I saved up my money for that wig, I totally repressed myself from buying things that I need. I was traumatized so much. I can't even say wig out loud, I don't even want to talk about wigs anymore. I can't even touch the box that has the wig at home. And the worst of all, I can't tell my parents about it cause they will have to force me to quit. They knew how I saved up for the money.

I actually thought of permanently quitting but I guess this is the first learning, and I must remember this trauma when I cosplay in the future. Besides, I'm planning to save up money for the things I need for college. I'll live alone in a different place and I'll need a lot of things. I think this year is the time for me to worry about my personal wants.

I still like cosplay but the things above came in simultaneously that I have to make this decision. I missed Toycon, the last convention that I can possibly attend, so that means, it's time for me to ignore cosplay for a while. My plans are on hold and all I can do is help my friends with their plans. This may not apply for the whole year if I've got plenty of reasons to cosplay during the hectic days of my senior year.

Lately, there's a big drama in the cosplay community involving all cosplayers vs. the owner of this blog

GT has a point that most cosplayers are now bastardizing cosplay, but it doesn't mean he's completely right. He has a lot of reasons, some of them are true but I don't agree with some. And it's not quite right that he features fail cosplayers...well, unless that they deserve being treated like that because of their rude personality.

I won't elaborate more since I actually don't care that much anymore. But, learn to embrace humanity for once, yo!
